Scope Of Work
These separate projects consisted of gut renovations to two of the original buildings that comprised the MIT Lincoln Laboratory campus built in the 1950s at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. Both are Design-Build projects with a total value of $37 million, encompassing 150,000 square feet. Use of the completed facility includes headquarters for the Nuclear Command Acquisition Group.

Work included two 4-story elevators were constructed within the existing building 1108 as well as a complete storefront and curtain wall system replacement.
The 1102 project was designed to some of the highest levels of security built to ICD-705 standards including a complete radio frequency shieling system, 7 secure fiber optic networks, 8 stand-alone federal security systems, and heightened sound transmission class (STC) ratings on wall systems, doors, and windows.
