Scope Of Work
Central Corridor light rail – the METRO Green Line – connects downtown Minneapolis and downtown Saint Paul, passing through the University of Minnesota’s main campus and along University Avenue. The project is nearing completion, with all stations and rail in place. Throughout 2013, project staff will be testing equipment and fine tuning systems in preparation for beginning service in 2014.
The Central Corridor LRT Project includes the construction of 18 new stations along the 11-mile Green Line route, in addition to the five stations that the Green Line will share with the Blue Line (Hiawatha LRT) in downtown Minneapolis.
Amcon provided construction services for 4 of the stations.
