Scope Of Work

TidalHealth (formerly Peninsula Regional Medical Center or PRMC) partnered with Gillis Gilkerson to open their second joint venture healthcare pavilion. The opening of the TidalHealth Campus at Ocean Pines followed the successful opening of duo’s original healthcare complex in Millsboro, Delaware, one-year prior.

Upon completion of construction, TidalHealth consolidated two of their family practices formerly located in Ocean Pines and Berlin. The offices now anchor the campus, occupying space in the 20,000 square foot Building One. Other occupants include TidalHealth’s FamilyLab, formerly located elsewhere in Berlin. The Ocean Pines campus also houses the Guerrieri Heart and Vascular Institute, a TidalHealth location for cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and adult fitness. Additionally, visitors now have the ability to fill prescriptions and pick up over-the-counter remedies and medical equipment from a TidalHealth Home Scripts location, a full-service community pharmacy offering drive-through convenience and home delivery services. The campus also offers a Junior Auxiliary Board Pines Café, featuring snacks, refreshments, gifts, and sandwiches.

Plans for the expansion of the TidalHealth Campus at Ocean Pines include Gillis Gilkerson’s construction of four additional medical office buildings. The Ocean Pines location currently offers the residents of Worcester County a one-stop location for a majority of their healthcare needs and will continue to grow and develop alongside the needs of its community.

“You can expect to see TidalHealth working with contractors like Gillis Gilkerson to develop similar health pavilions and medical complexes in growing population areas across Delmarva, and in underserved communities where healthcare services are needed,” said Dr. Peggy Naleppa of TidalHealth. “We’re caring for people, coaching them to stay healthy, and connecting them with the best services possible.”
