McShane Construction Company was selected to provide comprehensive construction services for the Lakeshore Medical Center, a five-story, 172,000-square-foot medical office building on the campus of Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
The exterior of the medical facility features metal panels and storefront windows providing extensive ambient light throughout the facility. Brick accents are featured around the first level of the building.
McShane completed all common interior spaces including the installation of five elevators as well as the interior improvements for the Walgreens situated on the first floor of the building. The firm also expanded the parking structure by adding a sixth floor with 184 additional spaces for patients and visitors. In addition, McShane added a pedestrian bridge connecting the third floor of the hospital to the fourth level of the garage.
