Scope Of Work

Morganti provided construction management services the interior renovation to the Courthouse. The renovations were phased and completed while the facility remained fully operational. The project called for the renovation of approximately 264,000 sf, of this 11-story courthouse that was constructed in 1932. The Courthouse’s 26 original courtrooms, the main and first floor lobbies were renovated along with the central booking facility. The facility remained occupied during portions of the construction. Retaining the character of the original style, while upgrading to a modern court facility was the project's main objective. The 13 floor renovation included total re-stacking and re-planning of all departmental spaces, new arrest-to-arraignment areas, new lighting, and finish upgrades for the main lobby and all public corridors, and new state-of-the-art prototypical courtroom and arraignment court designs.
