Scope Of Work

PCM provided multiple services during the restoration of the Floyd Bennett Field Hangars 1 & 2 including estimating, scheduling and project support services. The project took two years during studies, design and estimating prior to being awarded to the general contractor. Multiple estimates and schedules throughout the process, as well as, locating specialty contractors to meet the needs of replacement, repair and/or refurbishment and installation of historically correct exterior & interior components to ensure availability and budget control. Once, all parties were in agreement to price the GC was awarded the project. The project transformed the hangars into a 60,000sf Meter and Regulator Station for the measuring, control, and condition of the flow of natural gas flowing into the natural gas distribution system to local users, while at the same time rehabilitating the exterior to its historically accurate original conditions.
