Scope Of Work
The fast growing German discount grocer Aldi utilized Immel Construction to renovate their stores because of our extensive construction experience in occupied retail settings. This $1,150,000 project completely remodeled the existing store while maintaining operations for 12 weeks of the 16 week construction schedule. Construction consisted of a building addition, new coolers/freezers, display cases, and exterior entrance. New finishes included environmentally friendly materials and energy saving LED lighting. Aldi's also requires each store to participate in the EPA's GreenChill partnership, which recognizes retailers for using environmentally friendlier commercial refrigeration systems. Immel completed this project on schedule and on budget.
