Scope Of Work
Carolands Mansion was originally constructed in the late 19th century. Recently, a full renovation was completed. New custom windows were installed by a General Contractor.
Unfortunately, these windows leaked, damaging the interior surfaces and randomly fogging the duel panes. CAWC was called in to evaluate the problem. It was determined that the exterior window seams were allowing moisture to penetrate.
Using Sonoborne 150, a siliconized sealant, all seams and joints were carefully sealed. The window frames were then painted to match the original appearance. The window leakage problem was solved.
