Creating a landmark that would stand the test of time.

Southwest Michigan College needed an aesthetically pleasing, durable landmark that would stand as a tribute to the school’s alumni. Grand River Construction created a beautiful, functional solution, one that utilized stone pavers to highlight the college’s donors, limestone benches to offer a place for visitors to relax, and an elevated concrete flag podium that will stand as a beacon to future generations. Since we completed it just prior to the fall semester, it has quickly become a popular gathering place for current students and alumni.
