Scope Of Work
Considered the most significant Romanesque Revival structure in the State of Florida, this 1891, three story brick building was the site of many important historical events including the inquiry to the sinking of the USS Maine in Havana harbor. Now listed in the National Register of Historic Places the building became headquarters of the Navy's southern operations in 1932. Declared surplus, the building was abandoned for nearly twenty years when it was purchased by the State of Florida as a museum of art and history. Keystone Restoration was selected as general contractor for Phase III of the building's restoration. |
