Scope Of Work

DSI has been a technology solution provider to HamptonUnited States.  DSI implemented and headed the efforts in maintaining the solution throughout the Commencement process.  Some newly installed and existing technologies, provided by DSI, were used to make this effort successful.  The fiber optic infrastructure, new Stadium LED display, projectors, audio and video distribution equipment and other electronics throughout the campus would prove that DSI had designed and installed solutions that were ready for this new form of content delivery. In 2011, DSI began the design and implementation of a stand-alone, campus security IP network to deliver surveillance and security system data to and from campus buildings to the University Police Department. This project is ongoing. University for over 23 years and maintains a relationship as the preferred solution provider for the campus.  Throughout, DSI has kept the University on the technological cutting edge with campus-wide infrastructure installations, expansions and upgrades to support the bandwidth and traffic for more advanced conferencing, content delivery, data and security solutions.  

DSI performed the initial campus wireless deployment in 2005 and continues to provide additional and upgraded wireless networking components support for all buildings on campus. In Spring 2010, DSI provided an IP Content delivery solution for the Graduation Ceremonies.  The solution would prove to be vital since the live video feeds were distributed around campus and to the media, as the keynote speaker was the President of the

DSI is currently designing the new Campus Cable Television and content delivery system, based on the IP delivery solution used during graduation.  The system will be used to broadcast HD quality video to almost every building throughout the campus.  Prior to delivery of this solution and in conjunction with the implementation, DSI has been tasked with upgrading various electronic, conference, distance learning, and Smart classroom systems in efforts to bring the University up to the latest in high definition standards throughout the campus.  This modernization has produced an ever-growing need to convert standard classrooms to electronic classrooms with HD capabilities.  DSI is providing the design, installation, and integration services for these new projects, as well as other LED Display, Digital Signage, and audio/visual projects from various entities throughout Hampton .  DSI also provides bulletin board services, audio-visual, control, network connectivity, event recording and campus cable delivery systems throughout the campus for all the buildings including the dormitories and faculty housing.University
