Scope Of Work
This project consists of the new construction of a full-service, free-standing, 5,700 square foot LEED Certified Satellite Pharmacy Facility for the 460th Medical Squadron at Buckley AFB, Colorado. The building will provide pharmaceutical support for the beneficiaries at Buckley AFB. The building exterior is masonry veneer with light gauge metal framing backup and a sloped standing-seam metal roof. The interior construction consists of gypsum wall board over light gauge metal studs, acoustical ceilings, carpet, and hard surface flooring and installation of medical equipment. The structural foundations are spread and continuous footings. The work also includes: HVAC and plumbing; electrical service; cathodic protection for all underground metal; installation of sprinklers for fire protection; concrete and asphalt paving; curb and gutter; site utilities; and abatement of asbestos contaminated soils.
