Scope Of Work
This five-level, 3,000-space parking facility for Charlotte Douglas International Airport was the first of two daily parking decks symmetrically arranged around a people-mover system. The use of innovative materials for the building’s exterior cladding resulted in a dynamic solution that met the client’s economic, aesthetic, and practical concerns.
This one million square foot project is a cast-in-place and post tension parking deck. All glass stairwells and elevators accent the decorative precast and metal exterior. The parking deck also includes complex helical ramps.
