Scope Of Work
The new athletics and recreation center will be 15,000 SF larger than the existing one, expanding it to 95,000 SF. More than half of the rebuilt facility will be new construction, and other parts of the structure will be updated, seismically retrofitted, and reconfigured to enhance the building’s usability. The design for the building includes expansive use of glass throughout, with multiple outdoor patios. The building façade will be primarily architectural precast concrete and fiber cement panels, and the interior will include polished concrete and high-performance finishes, typical of a sports facility. The building is designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
