Scope Of Work
Camp Manatoc, owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America, serves as a gathering place for thousands of Scouts across northeast Ohio. Welty has served as the Construction Manager for several key improvement projects over the years including a $2.6 million expansion and renovation of the historic dining hall and the addition of a new fitness and aquatic center. Welty worked with the client to ensure both facilities were constructed to withstand repeated wear and tear as well as making the buildings fully handicap accessible. They also helped maintain the character of the dining hall – which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is thought to be the largest wormy chestnut building in the U.S.
