Scope Of Work
One of JL Marshall’s signature projects, the lower seating area of Gillette is cast-in-place concrete. According to the Gillette Stadium website, “The foundation of Gillette Stadium consists of 17,500 cubic yards of concrete, enough to build a sidewalk from here to Boston … on both sides of the street.” JL Marshall’s construction of massive footings and foundation elements supports the new stadium complex, and includes large architectural radius retaining walls. Half of the lower bowl seating sits on top of cast-in-place risers perched on the existing hillside.
