After years of working for others, and after much prayerful consideration, Don and Judy Moore decided to take the challenge of opening their own business, and Heartland Contracting was born on 2/18/04.

Through years of experience, Don and Judy knew precisely the kind of employees they wanted for their business and have surrounded ourselves with seasoned professionals with proven track records. Heartland is a full service MWBE certified commercial general contractor with licenses in NC, SC, Virginia and Tennessee. Our portfolio includes projects from a few hundred dollars to over $3 million. We do not gauge our success by the size projects we perform; rather, we consider ourselves successful when we earn our customers’ trust and establish lasting relationships built on that trust. We do not deviate from our commitment to do what is in the best interest of the customer and are vigilant for ways to save our customer money, offering alternate, less expensive options and solutions even when that reduces our profits.

We are adamant in our belief that you can never go wrong doing what is right and refuse to compromise our standards to increase profits.

We have been greatly blessed, and we believe this is true because of our desire to conduct our business in a way that honors the Lord. We don’t apologize for that philosophy and intend always to perpetuate that vision.
