Scope Of Work
Three HDPE shade fabric umbrellas cool the playground at Buchanan Field Airport in Concord, CA. The airport is one of two in Contra Costa
Each shade umbrella remains permanently open and cools about 314 square feet. Entry height is 8’6″; peak height is 13′-6″. Having in-ground footings, they withstand wind up to 85 MPH.
The playground is a popular place for children to watch planes taking off and landing. The playground is near the control tower, so kids hear communications between pilots and air traffic controllers.
