Scope Of Work

The design for the Cincinnati corporate offices of the international itelligence company involved a 3-story, 72,000 SF office building and a 14,000 SF data center facility. The design-build project is situated on an 8-acre site at Legacy Pointe in Blue Ash, Ohio. MSP worked with developer Duke Realty to provide an initial concept that allowed the team to win a design competition for the project. The final design of the offices help to maintain the German based company’s brand by being visually consistent with its overseas facilities through use of a European architectural style.

One key factor of the design was to maximize the new facility’s visibility off of adjacent Reed Hartman Highway, creating name recognition for the company in the area. Another was designing the facility to respond to the existing site. The final design allows for the basement of the office building, which contains the canteen and training facilities, to be tucked into the hillside next to the neighboring lake. The project utilizes the economically viable and sustainable solution of architectural precast concrete. The data center, designed for optimal security, also utilizes a concrete roof deck.
