Scope Of Work
Over the years, the estate has had many different owners, who have all had different visions for the property. These owners have completed various remodeling projects, completely changing the look and feel of the property. Finally, in 2010, and new owner purchased the property with the goal of returning the estate to its former historical design.
The current owner, a collector of history properties, wishes to undo all of the remodeling changes to the property in order to restore the home to its original condition when it was completed in 1938. In order to reach this goal, much historic research has been completed in order to determine exactly how to home appeared in 1938. The investigation has even extended from the UCSB library of art archives to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
Equipped with a full set of original construction plans, and highly skilled design and construction teams, we are proud to have been able to return the Von Romberg Estate to its original glory.
