Maryland Fire Equipment Corporation was founded by Robert E. Colvin and James S. Hartwell in 1961 and is located in Rockville, Maryland. From its humble beginnings in the basement of Mr. & Mrs. Hartwell’s home, Maryland Fire Equipment has grown into one of the most respected fire, rescue and safety distributors on the East Coast.
