Omega Construction has completed multiple projects for PVH Corp at its Jonesville Distribution Center totaling over 350,000 sf. PVH’s Jonesville facility is a state of the art distribution center for material handling, automation and sortation. The distribution center building is a conventional steel framed structure with a 35′ clear height. The latest project involved construction of a new 3-story executive office/break room addition along with converting existing office and conference room space into a new server room. The new office/break room addition consisted of a 3-story building on the NW corner of the existing distribution center. The lower lever housed a large break room facility with added vending and food prep areas. The ceiling structure was left exposed and painted to create an open feel. The HVAC system utilized duct sock, LED lighting was used and an exterior patio area was added. The 2nd level consisted of new executive office spaces, a boardroom and restroom facilities. The 3rd level included a conference/training room, additional restroom facilities, mechanical and electrical rooms and some unfinished space for future expansion. Additional renovation work was performed in the existing building, including converting the old break room area into locker room space, adding a larger women’s restroom and converting/renovating existing restroom space.
