Scope Of Work
Omega Construction Inc. has recently been awarded and sitework has commenced on a 1.3 million sf Warehouse & Distribution Center located in Savannah River International Trade Park in Savannah, GA. The project is a Build to Suit to serve as a warehouse and distribution center for a JLA Home a globally integrated home furnishing and furniture company.
The Developer, Chesterfield LLC, chose to utilize Omega’s fast track design / build project delivery method. The scope of the project includes 120 acres of sitework including grading, lime/cement soil stabilization, private sewer lift station, water and sewer utilities and 765,000 sf of concrete paving. The building structure will be a conventional structural steel and bar joist frame with 9.25” concrete tilt-up wall panels, a 45 mil TPO single ply roofing system and a 7” 4000 psi un-reinforced concrete slab.
