Stanford has a long history of architecture and construction
experience. He has studied the field of architecture from high school
into college at Howard University. While working for firms in
Washington D.C. and Rhode Island, he was ranked top in his field as a
structural and architectural draftsman. In 1980, Stanford started his
own construction business and ran it successfully until he retired in
2010 to become a consultant to owners, general contractors,
subcontractors, and agencies. During his time in business, Stanford
has completed multi-residential, single residential, commercial,
hotel, and industrial projects. He has worked alongside some of the
largest builders and developers in the industry, namely Gilbane,
Dimeo, Aspen Group, and many more. Through his dedication and
experience in the fields of construction and architecture, Stanford
was certified as an instructor by the National Center for Construction
Education. For several years, he developed and taught estimating and
project management classes using advance software solutions such as
Sage 100, Sage 300, Microsoft, Google Office Suites, Bluebeam, and more.
