John Arthur Welding, Inc.

Jeff McCune is part owner of John Arthur Welding, Inc. The name "John Arthur" came about to honor his Dad's name.

Our main line of business offers arc and MIG welding and flame cutting services. We provide pipeline and other structural welding, maintenance, repair, and new installation services. We are a small woman-owned company with over 40 years experience in the pipeline, plumbing, and welding industry.

Jeff McCune is the license's applicant and the operator of this California state contractors license, no.1079694. In April 2021 he took an early retirement from his employment at the Oakland-based East Bay Municipal Utility District and promptly started his own welding business with over 26 years pipeline welding experience. Jeff regards safety and safe practices in high esteem in all his work programs. He has many years of safety training, as a character trait, instilled through decades employed at the water district. 

He is also often called to Sacramento California to help update the testing criteria for minimally competent, safety-compliant and trade-experienced individuals seeking to become welding(C-60) contractor license-holders in the state of California.

Jeff is a 6G certified welder.
