Our Story

Signs and Safety Devices was established in 2007 by Heather Altobelli. We began as a small company with limited resources and just three employees. Within a few years Signs and Safety Devices grew into a successful sign company with several divisions and over 40 employees.

The Sales and Service division is focused on traffic products; including traffic cones, drums, construction signs and custom signage. In 2013 we established our Lane Closure division. This division handles traffic detour packages, sign rentals, equipment rentals and sign installation. This division also offers maintenance and protection of traffic with TCC certified employees and DOT certified trucks. We have expanded our closures to include the Port Authority and DOT projects.

Signs and Safety Devices is proud to be a WBE company. In 2019 we moved into our new building located in Middlesex, NJ. Our new larger space has left room to expand on the products and services we are able to offer. The entire team here at Signs and Safety Devices is dedicated to delivering the best quality at the best price to our loyal and ever-expanding client base.
