Project Size: ~37,000 square feet
Scope of Work: An entire floor of an office building in the Cambridge area of Boston Massachusetts was to be field verified using 3D scanning. The entire space was a rough build-out space under construction with exposed structural and mechanical systems visible for the 3D documentation.
Results: Deep Design Studio was brought on board by the to field verify the existing conditions a develop a 3D as-built model of the space in order to compare the existing rough conditions with the proposed design model. The results were successful, and many field issues were resolved through this process including ceiling heights with plumbing and duct systems and the structural grid layout was better understood.
