As Vice President, Mr. Zmijewski is in charge of all operations and business development of 3D Laser Scanning and Modeling. His past experience and resume brought a uniquely practical familiarity with 3D Laser Scanning technology and processes and is offering new technological solutions to a wide variety of measurement and physical documentation tasks and assignments for SAM. Prior to appointment as Vice President of SAM, Mr. Zmijewski served on the Board of Directors of Haag Engineering, a Texas based Forensic Engineering Firm. At Haag Mr. Zmijewski, established the Division, Haag 3D Solutions, LLC. H3DS was a technology and services company specializing in the visualization of asset management data, utilizing current and advanced technologies in 3D imaging, Geospatial Solutions, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) and was acquired by SAM in 2019. Prior to Haag, Mr. Zmijewski was for eight years, the Practice Leader for 3D Digital Imaging and Mapping at Stantec Consulting North America and Vollmer Associates of NYC. As the Principal and Associate at each firm, he was responsible for all aspects of overall initiatives relative to Land Surveying and 3D laser scanning. Mr. Zmijewski initiated and developed operations and guidelines of all major 3D survey and modeling projects. Over the past five years he has presented numerous seminars and workshops throughout the United States and Europe on the basics of 3D Laser Scanning Technology.
