Scope Of Work

Khatri was retained by Darden Restaurants to design the specialized foundation system for their 17 ft tall wine rack located in the center of the entry lobby. The wine rack weighs over 20,000# and required a micro pile foundation system because the site soil conditions consist of liquefaction potential upper layers. The micro piles are 50 ft deep and support the wine rack Khatri is proud to be associated with this innovative and challenging project located in downtown San Diego for an accomplished restaurant company like Darden.
