Scope Of Work
Megaplex Theaters is a chain of movie headquarters located across Utah and Nevada. The chain was founded in the 90s and is owned by the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies.
This particular Megaplex project consisted of the renovation and transformation of the old Mayan Restaurant at Jordan Commons into two state-of-the-art movie theaters, including concessions, meeting and party rooms. Extensive demolition was performed, saving only the exterior walls. A new structural roof system, along with a concrete and steel mezzanine, was added. Complete new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems were also installed. The Megaplex project was a great success and opened two weeks prior to the original completion date. In 2016, the theater celebrated its 25 millionth guest.
