Scope Of Work
This project was featured in the November 2015 issue of Roads and Bridges Magazine.
The old bridge spanning Kentucky was outdated and in need of additional capacity. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet selected our team for its $131.5 million replacement. This project involved a 3,611 ft. long high-level structural steel bridge over the Kentucky . A 550 ft. tied-arch span and plate with girder approach spans ranging in length from 292 ft. to 365 ft. The bridge is supported on 72” diameter steel piling with lengths up to 199 ft.
This bridge was ranked at no. 5 by the 2016 Bridge Rankings in North America.
