Scope Of Work
The Sugar Lab makes custom 3D printed sugar designs and other edible products. The company created a pop-up bakery to display their beautiful Sugar sculptures for a New York industry event. Sugar Lab wanted to to use a subway tile surface kitchen backsplash, and a warm reclaimed wood soffit. The counter was also surfaced with reclaimed wood with stainless steel counters.
The main design idea was to display the technology of the manufacturer's 3D printer system (their 3DSYSTEMS Company partner) in a familar friendly bakery kitchen setting. It was designed and built to collapse, pack and ship to a destination for quick assembly with no powertools.
