Scope Of Work
Revitalizing Communities: Batavia’s downtown mall was built during the 1970s era of urban renewal. Over time, the needs of the community changed. Architects Carmina & Wood, P.C. reinvented the mall by incorporating city government into a newly revitalized entrance courtyard and office space along Batavia’s Main Street.
By combining traditional and modern architecture — and using custom millwork and unique architectural details — the new structure creates a focal point and landmark that reflects the heritage of this historic community.
Allied’s carpenters and craftspeople took great care in creating the intricate, multi-layered patterns of wood, metal and masonry details. Allied’s ability to shift from heavy construction to detailed work comes from having almost fifty years of building experience.
