Scope Of Work

- Local resident contacted us and requested a visit to discuss options for adding a turnout in their driveway

- Additionally there was a culvert that was under their driveway going to a ravine approximately 15' deeper than their driveway on the low side

- This culvert was only about 4' deep on the high side but was extremely difficult to mow around due to steep slopes

- When creating the turnout, construction fabrics and compacted #304 limestone were used

- We excavated back on the existing culvert pipe and installed a precast concrete catch basin in order to raise the elevation up along the driveway while still providing proper drainage

- We regraded the surrounding areas during the driveway work and installed construction fabrics and rock channel to direct runoff to the drainage window we cut in the structure

- The rim of the structure was set below the top of the bowl I created so that in the event the window can't keep up the overflow inlet will

- Straw matting and seed finished off the project, along with a fresh layer of 57 limestone for the entire length of the driveway
