Scope Of Work

Construction of an 22,180 square feet 2-story auto dealership on a 3.6 acre parcel of land in Brook Park, Ohio, containing a shared 265 parking space sales lot. The facility included a (4) Vehicle Showroom, (4) Vehicle Service Drive, (8) Bay Service Area, (1) Vehicle Detail Bay, Drive-thru Car Wash, Conference Room and (14) Office Sales Department.

Design Build project in which Independence Construction and our team played a large part in all aspects of the design including foundations, structural steel and mechanical systems. We contracted and worked directly with the architect and engineers in order to keep the project within the designated project budget.

Site work for this facility was completed during Phase I of this project, during the construction of the Airport MINI of Cleveland. Structural steel erection was started in August of 2014. Just as the adjacent building, the building envelope consisted of a structural steel frame and half height masonry in the service area of the building. The exterior façade also includes a combination of EIFS, aluminum composite panels and storefront windows, which created the majority of the sales area exterior facade. By the end of October 2014, the building was fully enclosed and interior construction was proceeding. Interior finishes and exterior glazing continued through the early winter months. The level of detail in this facility included coffered 22' high sales and service drive ceilings and imported Italian tile through the entire facility including the service drive and service areas. The interior finishes of the building were completed by the end of December 2014.
