Michael Martines's Bio
As Chief Executive Officer of Martines Palmeiro Construction LLC, Mike leads the development, communication, and implementation of the company’s Core Values, Strategy, and Vision. He remains active in the company’s risk management activities, client relations as well as to ensure its fiscal responsibilities. Mike is one of the founding members and a primary stakeholder of the organization. He has used his over 28 years of construction and business experience to help in the company’s growth and success.
Mike was introduced to construction at an early age working with his father in the electrical trades; he later graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has continued his entire career in the construction industry. He and his wife relocated to Colorado in 1998 and have raised two sons in Denver. Mike is a pilot and enjoys fishing and watching his sons play baseball.

Steven joined us in 2021 to head up our Texas office. He brought with him an extremely impressive background, having progressed within the construction industry from a laborer and union carpenter to a superintendent, project manager, estimator, national director of construction, VP of operations and construction, state-licensed general contractor, and commercial construction company owner. Steven leads our Texas team by fostering an atmosphere and ethic that supports our company culture, implements our strategic plan, strives for continuous improvement and innovation, and maintains high levels of expectations for performance. Off the job, Steven enjoys golfing, sport shooting, family dinners out with his wife and their two children, and watching movies at home.

Tony Lajimodiere's Bio
As Chief Financial Officer and a member of Martines Palmeiro Construction LLC, Tony provides leadership and coordination of the finance,administration, risk management, and human resource functions of MPC. This includes budgeting and strategic planning, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cash management, and monitoring a comprehensive set of controls and procedures designed to mitigate risk.
Tony also works closely with operations leadership and MPC’s accounting staff to implement the most current technology available to our industry. This includes embracing mobile technology, cloud-based systems, and construction payment management. He focuses on building strong relationships with industry experts, in both development and subcontracting entities, through continuous communication and consistently striving to exceed expectations.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Michigan University and has worked in the field and in various industry service providers his entire career. He and his wife have been Denver residents since 2007 and are proud parents to twin daughters.

Bin Lu's Bio
As Vice President of Preconstruction and Member at Martines Palmeiro Construction LLC, Bin oversees all preconstruction, estimating and building integration efforts. He has over two decades of experience in architectural design/planning, project management, and preconstruction. Bin advises clients on the viability of projects at their inception and provides guidance to the design team on constructability and value analysis during the design phase. His expertise covers the full array of commercial construction, including multi-family, hospitality, office, senior living, healthcare, and higher education. His dedication to excellence has earned him a great reputation in the market place and long lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and trade partners alike.
Bin holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Construction Project Management from Arizona State University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and Downtown Denver Partnership. He is a graduate of the 2016 Downtown Denver Leadership Program. He is passionate about Denver development and local policy.
While he’s not at work, Bin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exploring the local food scenes, and touring wineries.
Joseph Howell's Bio

BACKGROUND
Joe joined our team in 2019 with extensive experience in carpentry, HVAC, architectural drafting, project management, and estimating. In his time in the industry, he’s worked on a variety of construction types, including custom residential, large multi-family, large commercial (stadium/arena/high-rise), and healthcare. At MPC, Joe is responsible for leading the cost estimating team as well as engaging with owners, the design team, and trade partners early and often to make sure projects are efficient and profitable for all stakeholders. In his off hours, if you don’t find Joe spending time with his wife and their two children, you may have trouble finding him at all because he’s bird hunting, playing hockey, golfing, or fly fishing.

Dennis Lane's Bio
As Vice President of Colorado Operations, Dennis leads the project management and the field operations for the company. He is a strong strategic thinker with the ability to plan, articulate, and implement initiatives across the various department facets. As such he has been able to drive continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining a high level performance. Dennis actively collaborates across the organization to help create an integrated customer experience by actively working with budgeting, preconstruction, client relations, recruiting, staffing, and cost management.
Dennis was influenced at an early age when his parents bought a home in a new subdivision; the new home construction in the neighborhood fostered a curiosity that has always stayed with him. He helped with the various construction trades doing odd jobs during the summer and learning the construction business. Dennis studied marketing in college but ultimately pursued a career in construction in Colorado. He started his career in single family homes development and then finally moved into commercial construction focusing on multi-family development for the past 25 years.
Dennis is married with 2 grown kids and has one granddaughter; he spends his free time in the outdoors hiking and fishing and loves baseball at all levels.
Steve Clouten's Bio
Steve Clouten has joined Martines Palmeiro Construction, LLC as their Vice President of Operations. Born and raised in Australia, his career has evolved from field operations, project controls, and operations management to executive leadership. Prior to joining MPC, he held leadership positions with Developer/General Contractor and General Contractor businesses in multiple geographical locations. His work experience has encompassed domestic and international sites; public and private projects; and commercial, high tech, and multifamily construction programs.
Steve is a proven leader who collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence, providing a quality service that meets Client’s needs. He seeks to positively impact the community by truly being a vested partner, both professionally and personally.
Academically, Steve has a BS in Construction Engineering from the University of New Mexico, a MS in Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he holds a professional certification from the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
Steve and his wife Debra have two grown children. Outside of work, Steve enjoys travelling, reading, gardening, running 5Ks, and spending time with friends and family.

Following in the work boots of his father, Desmond has been in the construction trades all his life, primarily with multi-family projects. At age 20 he was already an assistant superintendent on major projects in the Denver area. As a general superintendent with MPC, you’ll find Desmond on our worksites overseeing projects and coordinating with all the stakeholders – from trade partners and field teams to the architect and project owner. When he’s not at work, Desmond enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughter as well as outdoor sports and other outdoor activities.

Randa Taylor's Bio

BACKGROUND
The Texas energy industry’s loss was the Colorado construction industry’s gain when Randa crossed over with her HR talents in 2019. She joined our team in early 2022 bringing 15 years of experience in senior HR program management across several industries. Randa is responsible for leading and directing the continuing evolution of our HR Department and for developing the related programs, policies, and procedures. Outside of work, Randa enjoys reading, traveling, and dabbling in interior design. She skis in the winter and paddleboards and “glamps” in the warmer months. Through all the seasons, though, Randa is entertained by her two pups Milton and Mellie.
