The American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate promotes and funds research and prevention in the Metro Detroit community. Every year the AHA hosts several events including their Detroit Heart Walk, Detroit Heart Ball and Most Powerful Voices where leaders in the community partner with local health organizations to spread awareness about heart attacks and stroke.
