Scope Of Work

McShane  Company was selected by The Community Builders and Quad Communities Development Corporation to provide the comprehensive constructionservices for the Arts and Recreation Center at Ellis Park in Chicago, Illinois.

The 32,000 square foot facility was constructed of precast concrete and  framing. A window-lined lobby serves as the main access point of the facility showcasing an open staircase leading to a rooftop terrace and green roof system overlooking the surrounding park.

The facility offers numerous recreational opportunities within its full-size gymnasium featuring basketball courts, a five-lane indoor swimming pool with an ADA accessible ramp, a fully-equipped fitness center and outfitted locker room facilities. Spaces for art, education and community use were also together with music and theater performance areas.
