Scope Of Work
This project is a 69,000 SF, open concept research facility on Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Campus. The building houses several subsections of the Whiting School of Engineering including Extreme Materials Institute, Information Security Institute and Department of Computer Science.
Malone Hall’s open concept design provides experts in healthcare policy, physiology, modeling and medicine with the ability to revolutionize medical science. The facility provides a space where medical scientists, bioscientists and computer scientists can work directly with each other. Additionally, on the ground level, labs allow engineering research of laser shock pressures, drop weight impacts and 3D imaging using a field emission scanning electron microscope. This project is pursuing LEED® Gold.
