Scope Of Work
Mortenson was selected by Pattern Energy Group for the construction of the 150 MW Spring Valley Wind project, 30 miles east of Ely, Nevada. Located on 7,673 acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property, the 66 2.3 MW Siemens turbines utilize an existing 230kV transmission line that runs through the site for interconnection. The team worked with a heightened sensitivity to environmental, ecological and cultural influences that affect the project site.
Mortenson was responsible for the design and construction of access roads, foundations, turbine erection, underground collection, 230kV substation and an O&M building.
