Scope Of Work
Located in the historic Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood, one of Cleveland’s most diverse and sought after areas in which to live, this Victorian Restoration was originally designed by legendary Cleveland architect, Paul Matzinger. His architectural work reigned from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. Significant examples of his work include The Tudor Revival Clifton Terrace, the Gothic Revival Zion Lutheran Church and the Mission style Eighth Reform Church. Scalish Construction is honored to restore this 1898 masterpiece and transform the building back to its original architectural design. In addition SC will be collaborating with the Cleveland Restoration Society and its Heritage Home Program to ensure that all historic aspects are preserved. The project will incorporate a complete gut restoration preserving the old architecture while making strides for new advances with Energy Star accreditation and Green Communities tax abatement.
