Scope Of Work
The planned 53-hour closures of the freeway were needed to dismantle the north/south side of the Mulholland Bridge over the 405. Anticipated to be a traffic nightmare with the extensive engineering and coordination efforts provided, it was a successful operation. As stated by the LA METRO, “Last weekend’s closure of the 405 FWY represented a historic moment in our regions long traffic history. Bracing- and preparing- for the worst, we were rewarded with a day of surprisingly smooth driving and lower stress.” DC Engineering staff were responsible for local agency coordination and design
