Scope Of Work
The TEX Rail project is a 27.2-mile, 9-station regional passenger rail line linking downtown Fort Worth with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFWIA). The line will offer an alternate transportation option to congested roadways, thereby increasing mobility, and provide significant environmental benefits. Tex Rail will provide direct access to downtown Fort Worth and DFWIA as well as activity and employment centers such as the the Fort Worth Historic Stockyards and downtown Grapevine. Additionally, the line will connect with multiple transportation modes at the downtown Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) and T&P Station including the Trinity Railway Express commuter rail service, AMTRAK, and The T’s downtown bus transfer center.
