Scope Of Work
Amityville Village Hall located at 21 Ireland Place, Amityville, New York three-story, 20,000 square-foot American Georgian-style building houses the Police Department, Village Administration Offices.
Dynaire was contracted to overhaul the entire HVAC system. The goal was to reduce energy consumption, minimize environmental impact and improve long term health of employees. Geothermal heat pumps provide the building with heating and cooling.
This building received a record five awards for being a model for high performance buildings in Suffolk County and only the third LEED gold certified project in the County. This included the 2009 Smart Growth Award - Green and Energy Efficient. ($ 760,000.00)
