Scope Of Work
This was a complicated renovation of a 20,000 SF, highly sensitive medical treatment facility in the fully operational, 1,200-bed teaching hospital without any interruption to the ongoing department operations. The project included the temporary relocation of the chemical lab and treatment room as well as the demolition and reconstruction of the balance of the floor. Scope of work was divided into 13 phases with some running concurrently and all tying directly into one master schedule. The project was completed without a single revision to the original schedule and was such a success that an individual patient’s family reimbursed the hospital for the renovation.
