Scope Of Work
Ujamaa Construction was selected as Construction Manager to build the new state of the art training facility for Peoples Gas. The project is located in the Little Village Community on the West side of Chicago.
The project includes construction of a 50,083 SF facility on a 9.98 acre parcel in Chicago,
IL. The work is inclusive of; environmental remediation, precast concrete wall
Panels, installation of the vehicle fuel system and the complete buildout of the training facility inclusive of finishes, MEPS systems, storage areas, indoor training and an outdoor ”Gas City” training area.
The team completed the project in accordance with the project schedule and achieved 92% MBE/WBE participation.
