Scope Of Work
UJAMAA was selected by the Volunteers of America to provide the construction services for six new six-flat apartment buildings located in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Hope Manor II is designed to offer affordable, supportive housing for Veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their children.
Each building consists of (six) three-bedroom, two-bathroom units featuring generous window lines, Energy star appliances, in-unit washer/dryer connections and sustainable white TPO roofs.
UJAMAA also completed the associated site work, landscaping and the park and children’s play area.
The construction professionals from UJAMAA self-performed the carpentry and general labor trades on this 54,650 sf affordable, multi-family housing assignment.
