Scope Of Work
Located on the 272-acre Science Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus, the Health Sciences Complex project involves the complete transformation of the former Chrysler Assembly Plant into a word-class research institution.
Phase One of the overall project involved the construction of a 103,000 square foot College of Health Sciences facility for the University of Delaware. The $20MM facility features cutting-edge laboratories encompassing the latest in medical technology for advanced research in health sciences; including Biomechanics and Bioengineering Labs, PT Motion Analysis Labs, Wet Labs, Clinical Examination Rooms, an Anatomy Lab, a Bone Density Suite, and a Robotics Fabrication Lab.
Over the course of this fast-tracked project, Bancroft managed approximately $2.2 MM of construction activity per month. The project was completed on time and within the established budget. For the development of the Health Sciences Complex, Bancroft formed a partnership with Delle Donne & Associates.
