Evergreen Plastic Container Inc. sought to relocate its business from Portland. They wanted the benefi ts of owning their own facility, plus better energy rates and tax incentives. The manufacturer of 100 million plastic beverage containers a year engaged a commercial real estate broker to scout available properties. Given its business acumen and strong local relationships, RSV Building Solutions was engaged to lead the development process. RSV supported the owners by leading the entire development process, including evolving property negotiations, site plan revisions, construction management, and relocation of complex equipment. The project included 50,000 square feet of high-functioning industrial space with eight loading docks and a corporate headquarters. Initially a 5-acre site, a larger 22-acre parcel was acquired midstream for fl exibility and future growth
