Scope Of Work
Masson & Associates specified FocalPoint at the Viejas Casino Phase III Project in Alpine, CA. The FocalPoint will treat 3,220 cubic-feet of stormwater runoff from the hotel parking lot. The FocalPoint biofiltration footprint fit easily into a planter on the north side of the parking lot. The flexibility of FocalPoint allowed for increased building occupancy since no parking spaces were sacrificed by large bioretention basins. FocalPoint is about half the cost of other proprietary biofiltration systems currently on the market.
FocalPoint High Performance Modular Biofiltration System (HPMBS) is a scalable biofiltration system which combines the efficiency of high-flow rate engineered soils (100 inches/hour) with the durability and modularity of a highly pervious expandable underdrain/storage/infiltration system.
